Over the years, I have got so many messages from students and friends about software engineering interview prep that I decided to end this conversation once and for all. I don’t promise it’s going to be concise but it will be bs-free. I am doing this primarily because getting on phone calls is so inefficient. I don’t always think about this stuff and I don’t prepare before the phone calls either. It’s more effective if I just gather my thoughts on this topic and do a brain dump once.
Starting this week, I’ll have a new series called Weekly Digest. In this series, I will simply share the articles that I found interesting with some key takeaways and notes. I hope you find them worth your time.
I just wanted to give an update on what I intend to publish soon on this page. I have some ideas but they are not as crystalized as I’d like them to be. I’ll be honest. I’m not even sure what I want from this platform. Do I want to keep it as a blog or do I change it into a website of a few useful essays/compilations/life hacks? I have a twitter account where I post about daily matters and whatnot but here I’d like to follow something more structured.
The NBA is back! We had two games tonight and both of them were pretty close even though players looked a little bit rusty. I felt pretty entertained, to be honest, I mean, how could you not be with all the virtual crowd? It’s pretty sweet what Microsoft Teams accomplished for the NBA.
Writing is a serious business. It’s the only medium that can enhance or damage the ideas it conveys. It’s like railroad tracks. Unless they are laid out securely, no train of thought (pun intended) would be safe to travel on them.
Make white sneakers great again!.. but how?
Disclaimer: By no means, I am a dental or a medical professional. What I’m providing here is simply my take on how to maintain and improve your dental health. When in doubt, you should always trust your dentist’s opinion and not mine.
I saw a tweet the other day and it really piqued my interest. “The app is called “You’re Cancelled.” When you’ve made plans that you wish you could cancel, you go into the app and press a little button. If the other person presses theirs too, congratulations! Confetti exploded and your plans are cancelled.”
Living in the city, I don’t get to go to these fast-food restaurants as much as I want to so when I do go, I make sure to get a few extras for home to eat later. This never worked great before I found out the right way to reheat the sandwiches because just throwing it into the microwave straight up disappoints. Bread gets soft and chicken loses its juice so the experience gets degraded significantly.
About a couple of months back, I was fortunate enough to go to Coachella and find out what the hype was about. The tickets were quite expensive and we were planning to camp. It was going to be my first (or second?) time camping at a festival so you could say that I was a big noob. Yet, I had a good amount of experience travelling abroad and discovering/staying at new places so I knew I had to prep before the festival. Before I get into the hacks that I used to make the most out of my experience at coachella, here are a few things why I wanted to go to Coachella in the first place.
Welcome to my blog! I am using jekyll-now to build this blog - it’s basically a static website generator for Github Pages. Works pretty nicely I think.
